An Indonesian lawmaker has resigned from parliament over a sex video which showed him cavorting naked with a singer, reports said Friday.
"He submitted his resignation letter Thursday evening," parliament speaker Agung Laksono, told state news agency Antara.
Yahya Zaini, a married member of parliament from the country's biggest political party, was caught with singer Maria Eva on footage shot on her cellphone.

Zaini and Eva both face a criminal investigation for allegations that he forced her to have an abortion.
Zaini was head of Golkar's spiritual affairs committee before the scandal, which has gripped conservative Indonesia, forced him to resign from the party as well earlier this week.
Laksono said the scandal had hurt the image of the party, which was the political vehicle of former dictator Suharto.
